Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use talewithme.com ("Tale With Me", "we", "us") and when you buy anything from it. Please read them before you buy.
1. Who we are
Tale With Me is run by a private entrepreneur registered in Armenia. Contact: hello@talewithme.com.
2. What Tale With Me is
Tale With Me publishes illustrated picture-book tales that a parent or other adult reads aloud with a child. The tale is read in your web browser. You can type the child's name so the tale speaks to them; the name stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
The tale on our website is free to read. No account is needed.
3. For grown-ups
Tale With Me is meant to be used by an adult together with a child. Purchases, the email list and contacting us are for adults (18 or older) only. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian.
4. Buying the Keepsake Edition
- What you get: the Keepsake Edition of the tale, a downloadable PDF picture book and printable colouring pages. It does not contain your child's name; there is a page where you can write it in by hand.
- Price: pay what you want, from the minimum shown at checkout. Prices are in US dollars. Prices include applicable sales tax or VAT.
- Our reseller: orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Lemon Squeezy sells the product to you, handles payment and tax, sends your receipt and handles billing questions. - Delivery: the download is available straight after payment and by a link in your receipt email.
5. All sales are final
The whole tale can be read for free before you buy, and the Keepsake Edition is delivered instantly, so we do not offer refunds. See our Refund Policy.
If you are in the EU, the UK or another country with a right to cancel online purchases: at checkout you ask us to give you the digital download immediately and confirm that you understand you lose your right to cancel once the download has started. This does not affect your rights if the file is faulty or not as described: write to hello@talewithme.com and we will put it right.
6. What you may do with the tale and the Keepsake Edition
Everything on Tale With Me, including the stories, characters, illustrations and design, belongs to us and is protected by copyright. You may read the tale and use the Keepsake Edition for your own family and household, including printing copies for your home. You may not sell, share publicly, upload elsewhere, or use them to train or prompt AI systems without our written permission.
7. Using the site fairly
Please don't try to break, overload or copy the site, or use it for anything unlawful.
8. Our email list
You can choose to get an email when our next tale is ready. It is optional, free, and never a condition of reading or buying. You can unsubscribe from any email. See our Privacy Policy.
9. If something goes wrong
We work hard to keep Tale With Me available and correct, but the site is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you for any purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you buy applies to that purchase. The date at the top shows the latest change.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim there.
